Last year CJ quietly asked for a cell phone. We decided that when he was 13 he could have one. He never complained although he did mention that he was one of just 5 kids in 6th grade without a phone. So when I decided to upgrade my phone and plan to the 21st century he got one too.
So now there are just 4 kids in 7th grade without phones!!!
This does look like the one Betty's grandson has.
