Since moving into this house we have heard the woodpecker many times. I had seen one briefly at a neighbors house many years ago. Thanks to the Emerald Ash Borer two Piliated Woodpeckers are visiting our backyard. These pictures were taken a couple of days after the ice storm.
Wondering if the EAB has damaged the tree.
