Recently there was an article in the paper about how the Red Tail Hawks are adapting to life in the city. It would appear that this guy read the article too. Each day on my way up 23 he is there sitting on the wires looking for food. One day I even got to see him swoop down into a field, don't know it was a successful hunt, but it was fun to watch. ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this may be the same one that has been spotted in our backyard on a couple of occasions. As long as he goes after the 'bandit birds' (sparrows) and not our beloved bluebirds...
